A year ago, I embarked on my weight loss journey by committing to exercising regularly so that I can be healthier for my family. This was after sitting on the sofa for a good 2 weeks while the wifey was doing her cardio workout every weekday morning. 😅 Eventually, I couldn't bear to be a sloth anymore and I joined in.
These days, we feel uneasy when we don't workout for a particular day so yes, habits can be formed. Now, it's the kids' turn to laze on the sofa and surf on their phones when we exercise in the morning. Though I'm always tempted to nag at them to get them exercising, I now realize that I was also once like them - and it took me over 30 years to get started. 🤣 I can only be an example for them like what the wifey did for me, and remember that my exercising will plant a seed in my kids' brains and that maybe they will start doing the same in the future. 😊
